COVID-19 Operating Plan for the Ector County Judiciary was entered on 05-27-2020.
Amended Temporary Emergency Order for the 70th, 161st, 244th, and 358th District Courts was entered on 08-10-2020.
Temporary Emergency Order Regarding Proceedings Before the 446th Judicial District Court of Ector County Texas was entered on 03-19-2020.

New Form Required With All Child Support Orders
Effective September 1, 2021, all future child support orders require a Record of Support Order (using the state mandated form) be filed with the District Clerk via eFile Texas. See Texas Family Code § 105.008.
Assignment of Family Cases
Effective February 6, 2018, all pending and future family cases are now assigned to the 446th District Court. CLICK HERE to view the Transfer Order.

e-Filing Is Now Mandatory
Ector County is now under the Mandates for e-Filing in Civil, Family, and Criminal case types.
Ector County Detention Center Jail Records Search
Online Public Access Jail Records Search is now available. For additional information contact the office of the Ector County Sheriff.
Electronic Service Address - REQUIRED
Effective October 1, 2016, all Texas attorneys are required to designate with the State Bar an official electronic service email address for the statewide e-filing system. CLICK HERE to view the Texas Supreme Court's Order. If no new email address was provided, the Texas State Bar defaulted to the email address already on file.
